World Challenge GT- Long Beach Preview

HANOVER, MD (April 15, 2008) - Phillip Martien and the Phillips Way/At Speed Motorsports crew are heading to warm and sunny Long Beach, CA for the second race of the season.  World Challenge GT joins Champ Car and ALMS on the Long Beach road corse from April 17-20. Only the GT class from World Challenge will be competing this upcoming weekend.

Phillip is looking to improve on a great start to the 2008 season, with a good showing in Long Beach. The crew is very happy with how the Porsche performed in Sebring and how well it is looking for the Long Beach race. The first practice for Martien begins on Friday at 5:30 followed by another practice session Saturday morning at 7:50. Qualifying is at 8:30 on Sunday morning followed by a Driver Autograph session at 11:15.

The Long Beach Word Challenge GT race begins on Sunday at 4:00 following the the Champ Car Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. The race can be then seen on Speed Channel on Wedensday, April 30, 2008 at 12:00pm. Live timing and scoring of all the events at Long Beach can be followed at www.world-challenge.com.
